Prenatal Gathering

  • Hosted By Honey Womb

This one day retreat goes beyond your average prenatal class.

We weave in the logical/mental game of birth with embodied attunement. Imagine being at a cave entrance and you've read the maps before entering, you've seen pictures and videos, but the experience itself is a whole new game. By tuning into the complex language of your body, breath and to revel in your innate ability to grow a child and to give birth using affirmations & hypnobirthing techniques we'll help you get to that place of "confident knowing".

    What we'll cover:

    • Physiological stages of labor

    • Ideal birth vision

    • Comfort techniques

    • Journaling and mindfulness around fear of the unknown and pain.

    • Informed choice

    • The power of intuition to help you find inner peace

    • A mini bootcamp for dad’s/birth partners so they feel better prepared

    • An essentials list of what you'll need for home or hospital

    • Postpartum planning and baby care

introduction to Mindfulness and the power of positive psychology

  • Hosted by Tatiana Baron, RCC

This group is about creating connection with others, learning about various mindfulness techniques as well as practicing mediation. We meet for three afternoon sessions with 6-8 participants. We start with a brief grounding exercise, followed by group discussions or activities and end with a 15-20 meditation practice. Participants are encouraged to integrate what they have learnt in session into their daily lives through small homework assignments.

Validation and acceptance are critical components to each session.

Chairs are provided and are suitable for the mediation portion of each session; but I encourage people to bring a yoga mat, pillows, blankets and/or an eye mask to enhance their experience.
